Music education is an imperative part of the development of a child. Our instrumental band program provides students with instruction on instruments in the woodwind, brass, and percussion families, as well as teaching them music theory and composition. Band students are given the opportunity to perform at several concerts throughout the school year, in which they will perform a wide variety of music. Students who remain in the program through 8th grade will have the ability to audition into the instrumental programs at performing arts high schools.
